So glad to have purchased this!

We got the carrycot because we thought it would be handy for trips away or on the pram but we mainly used it for nightime sleeps as our son didn't initially the larger side sleeper we had. He is now moving a bit much at 3 months to sleep in it and we have it ready to try as the parent facing seat. Even though it is recommended from 6 months, our son fits comfortably in the parent facing seat on max incline just as he would in the normal urban jungle seat so we will use a bit earlier than recommended. Best purchase, so glad we got this extra.

Hi Kate,
Thank you for your review and feedback, its always to hear how our parents are using their products. Our recommendations are there as guidelines so you feedback is valuable to us.

Deal breaker :(

We were about to buy the mountain buggy UJ and wanted the carry cot. However, trying to install into their 2019+ clips at the store was a deal breaker. It's extremely fiddly, there's not enough clearance in the slot to easily slip it in and the force required for pushing the tabs open is too high. Once you do get this installed, removing it again is a pain! Extremely disappointing, as we love the base stroller, but without an easy to install parent facing option (compared to the competition) it's turned us away.

Hi Adrian,

Thanks so much for your feedback — we really appreciate it!
Just a little tip with the carrycot clips: it's important to lift the carrycot up slightly so it sits properly into the gap of the attachment. Then, gently lower it down until you hear a 'click' to know it’s securely locked in place.
If the carrycot isn’t lifted slightly first, it can end up pressing against the metal attachment, which could cause damage over time.

Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. We're planning to create a new video to show this step more clearly, to help other parents who might run into the same issue.

Thanks again for helping us do better!

Great attachment

This was a handy attachment my baby slept in the bassinet part when we went away for the night and when we we're out and about he loved it. We have now put the forward facing seat part on and he loves looking at us and it's light and easy to put on the pram (urban jungle)

The only negative thing I would say is it's not that easy to change the position of the bassinet/seat when bubs is in there I feel like I need 3 hands to do it safely

A buggy and starwler in one!

Carrycot plus on the mountain buggy is a great combo! Its fantastic to transform the buggy in a strawler. Driving gently over bumpy terain, our baby continue to sleep good and soft! Stuck together connected with the two clips, a bit unhandy to attach trough. It would be nice if you could fold it together for temporary storage, however the carrycot is de-constructable but its a bit of work. Overall a very nice product that i definitely would recommend!
