R129 is the latest and most advanced European car seat safety standard, designed to provide enhanced protection through more rigorous crash testing, including front, rear and side impact testing using advanced Q- series dummies with 32 sensor points to more accurately measure forces and better replicate real-world crash conditions.
We also go above and beyond these extreme tests, by performing our own additional rollover testing for even greater reassurance on every journey. This is true peace of mind.

Another key advantage of R129, is that it uses your child’s height rather than weight and age to determine the correct seat stage, helping ensure a more precise fit as your child grows. The R129 standard also supports Extended Rear Facing (ERF) travel, widely recognised as the safest way for infants and toddlers to travel as it better protects the head, neck, spine and pelvis during early development.
